Since the end of March, 165 tons of seed potatoes of the Colomba and Challenger varieties have been exported from the Kaluga region. It was produced in one of the leading seed farms in the region. The recipients of the goods were agricultural enterprises in Belarus and Turkey.
As reported by the interregional department of Rosselkhoznadzor, tuber samples underwent the necessary studies, and as a result their safety was confirmed. By the beginning of this week, the department had managed to issue seven phytosanitary certificates for exported potatoes.
