For many, the Tyumen region is, first of all, the place where the largest oil and gas reserves in the country are located. But this region is famous not only for minerals. Despite the difficult climatic conditions, agriculture is actively developing in the region. And potatoes are one of the most interesting crops for local agricultural producers. The Tyumen Region regularly ranks first in the Ural Federal District in terms of the yield of this crop.

- Gennady Alexandrovich Ryazanov
The agrofirm was founded in 1999 on the basis of the Niva farm. At present, KRiMM is one of the largest holdings in Russia for the production of seed potatoes and open field vegetables with a total sown area of over 30 thousand hectares.
From the very first years of its operation, the company relied on advanced technologies and a scientifically sound approach to housekeeping. One of the first in the region to introduce potato cultivation using Dutch technology, using agricultural machines and equipment of advanced European producers. More than 70% of the fleet is made up of imported equipment (GRIMME, SPUDNIK, AMAZONE, etc.). The composition of the machines is updated annually. So, in 2018, the company acquired two new high-performance harvesters produced by the GRlMME group of companies: SV 260 and four-row potato harvester SPUDNIK 6640.
Since 2000, the agricultural firm has been operating a modern laboratory of primary potato seed accredited by the Russian Agricultural Center, which provides the cultivation of elite seeds starting from obtaining micro-tubers from test plants.
Even in difficult weather conditions, the company receives more than 100 thousand tons of gross output, since a significant part of the crops is grown by irrigation (irrigation equipment is installed on an area of 2500 hectares). On separate fields of KRiMMa, 60-65 tons of potatoes from 1 ha are harvested.
The company pays great attention to the organization of storage. The agricultural holding owns Russia's largest vegetable storage with a capacity of 60 thousand tons, partially equipped with refrigeration equipment, and the total capacity of all available storage facilities exceeds 100 thousand tons. In 2019, the agricultural company began the construction of two additional potato storages located near the places of cultivation of products. By shortening the path, the company plans to deliver vegetables to the storage location in better quality.
The company has its own chain of stores in Tyumen. In 2019, the KRiMM agricultural company launches its own potato processing plant.
