SME Corporation will provide financial support to agricultural cooperatives of the Sverdlovsk Region for a total amount of 24 million rubles using its guarantee products, the press service of the Corporation said.
“The SME Corporation made a positive decision to provide financial support for three agricultural cooperatives in the Sverdlovsk Region for a total amount of 24 million rubles using the guarantee products of the SME Corporation as part of the Support Package (“ boxed ”product) package for agricultural cooperatives and farmers, which includes guarantee support, soft loans, leasing support, grant support and subsidies of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. In addition to financial support, the “boxed” product includes measures to expand sales of products, including through federal retail chains, ”the report said.
In Yekaterinburg, representatives of the SME Corporation held a round table on the implementation of a set of measures to support agricultural cooperatives and farmers. The round table participants learned about the standard ready-made solutions developed by the Corporation in the field of beef cattle breeding, dairy farming and potato farming and the possibilities of their application in assessing the establishment of a farm and agricultural consumer cooperative.
Within the framework of the round table, a representative of the Monotown Development Fund (MONOGOROD.RF) Anton Sidorov spoke on the measures to support farms planning investment projects in single-industry towns of the Sverdlovsk Region.
“The Fund has financial and non-financial support tools. For business for the implementation and development of investment projects in single-industry towns, we offer our soft loans: from 5 to 250 million rubles at 0% per annum and loans up to 1 billion rubles at 5% per annum. Entrepreneurs can also get free infrastructure for their investment project - the Fund will co-finance together with the region the construction and reconstruction of utilities and transport infrastructure, ”said Sidorov.
In total, there are 17 single-industry towns in the Sverdlovsk Region in which the Fund’s full support measures are in place.
Since 2018, the region has been implementing a departmental target program “Development of Agricultural Consumer Cooperation in the Sverdlovsk Region for 2018-2020” and a center of competence in the field of development of agricultural cooperation and support for farmers has been identified. In 2018-2020, 9 new agricultural cooperatives were created in the region, the press service reminded.
