Lenta Online will test the Svezhetologist virtual assistant to advise customers on the choice of fruits and vegetables. The goal of the pilot project is to increase confidence in online shopping for fruits and vegetables.
To call a virtual assistant, you do not need to download the Lenta Online mobile application. A store visitor can find and scan a special QR code in the Fruits and Vegetables area. Svezhetologist will share with customers life hacks on choosing fruits and vegetables, which are used by Lenta Online pickers in their work. In addition, you can get a special promotional code for a discount when ordering on the website and in the mobile application.
Andrey Kalinov, head of marketing communications for online businesses at Lenta, said:
“Customers are sensitive to the choice of vegetables and fruits. This is especially true for consumers who want to order these categories of goods online. Thanks to the Svezhetologu virtual assistant, customers of the Lenta Online delivery service will be able to make sure that the freshest and highest quality products, carefully selected by pickers in the network’s stores, will get to their table.”
The project is part of a large-scale communication campaign to promote the benefits of the delivery service, launched last year in in-store and commercials. The pilot was launched in two Moscow hypermarkets located at the following addresses: Chechersky proezd 51 and 47 km of the Moscow Ring Road, building 20. If the pilot project is successful, the company will decide to scale it up to other chain stores.
