"The subject of the competition: the selection of scientific or educational organizations in order to create selection-seed-breeding and selection-breeding centers in the field of agriculture for the creation and implementation of modern technologies in the agro-industrial complex based on their own developments of scientific and educational organizations," the document says.
It is noted that the projects participating in the competition should be aimed at modernizing the scientific infrastructure necessary for the creation and implementation of modern technologies, the acquisition of breeding and livestock equipment, laboratory equipment, the training of highly qualified personnel for the agro-industrial complex, as well as research and development of new technologies. in the field of selection.
Participants in the competition must have a program for the creation and development of the center. It should reflect, among other things, the planned results of the center's work - the number of results of intellectual activity, the number of technologies envisaged for creation, based on their own developments, as well as the share of researchers under the age of 39 in the total number of workers of future breeding and seed production and selection and breeding centers.
According to the terms of the competition, it is planned to select up to 35 centers, which will receive grants over four years. The size of the grant in the first year will be 15 million rubles. The size of the grant for the second and subsequent years will be determined depending on the results of the center's work, but will not exceed 50 million rubles in the second and third years, and 25 million rubles in the fourth. At the same time, a prerequisite for obtaining a grant is co-financing from extra-budgetary sources in an amount comparable to the amount allocated by the grant. Applications will be accepted until April 16, and the winners will be selected by May 12, 2021.
