Mikhail Mishustin gave a number of instructions following the results of the CIPR-2022 conference. On behalf of the President, the government continues to support the development of the agro-industrial complex, taking into account the use of information technology. More than 900 million rubles will be allocated for this, according to the official website of the Russian Government.
“On the instructions of the President, the Government is working to ensure the development of the agro-industrial complex, taking into account the use of information technologies that meet the requirements of today.
We will allocate more than 900 million rubles from the budget for the use of digital technologies in agriculture. This is necessary to make the data of the Ministry of Agriculture available in real time to all interested citizens, enterprises and departments.
To improve the accuracy of crop estimates, it is planned to introduce artificial intelligence technologies in eight pilot regions this year. These are the Voronezh, Kursk, Bryansk, Tula, Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow regions, as well as the Perm Territory and Tatarstan. At the first stage - in relation to seven main agricultural crops: spring and winter wheat, sunflower, corn, sugar beet, buckwheat and potatoes.
The register of federal property of the agro-industrial complex will also start working. It will help you bring together disparate information, analyze it and make informed decisions based on it.
Household books will also be digitized. Many of them have been conducted since the 30s of the last century and often exist only in paper form. This will allow collecting data on manufactured products into a single information platform. As a result, the state system for monitoring and forecasting food security will become more accurate. We hope that this will allow millions of citizens associated with the agro-industrial complex to take advantage of new opportunities this year.”
