One of the results of the implementation of the Priority 2030 program was a combined unit for improving soil fertility, which was developed by scientists from the Department of Agricultural Machines of the Timiryazev Academy together with colleagues from the Stavropol State Agrarian University, reports press office RGAU-MSHA them. K.A. Timiryazev.
The use of the machine makes it possible to increase soil fertility, the efficiency of applied organic fertilizers and the environmental friendliness of their use, and to ensure the fight against weeds.
When applying liquid organic fertilizers to the fields, modern livestock enterprises often use the subsoil method. One of the options for supplying nutrients to machine-tractor units are hose systems. However, in this case, there is an uneven distribution of fertilizers over individual working bodies of tillage machines.
The combined tool allows for deep subsoil application of liquid organic fertilizers through hose systems with simultaneous sowing of green manure crops. The design of the distribution device allows you to optimize the operation of the unit, provides a high uniformity of fertilizer distribution without clogging individual working parts of the machines. The device was manufactured at the Potok machine-building plant.
The unit has already passed production tests in the field of ZAO Troparevo, located in the Moscow region. The Department of Agricultural Machines is grateful to General Director Yu.A. Toropov, executive director D.L. Kozlov and employees of Agrotekhnopark LLC for their help in organizing and conducting tests.
