“The plan for potatoes has already been fulfilled by 35%. The leaders are Oktyabrsky district - 412 hectares, Ussuriisk - 231 hectares and Lesozavodsk - 100 hectares, ”the Department of Agriculture and Food of Primorye noted.
Also today more than a thousand hectares of vegetables have been planted - 33% of the plan.
Note that earlier Vice Governor Valentin Dubinin said that in 2018 it is planned to sow up to 475 thousand hectares of arable land within the framework of the regional state program “Development of agriculture and regulation of markets for agricultural products, raw materials and food. Improving the standard of living of the rural population of Primorsky Krai ”.
“In total, more than 2018 billion rubles will be allocated from the federal and regional budgets to the Primorsky agrarians in 2,8. Subsidies for technical modernization, development of dairy farming, peasant farms, production of greenhouse vegetables have been increased, ”the deputy head of the region emphasized.
Recall that the acting governor of Primorye, Andrei Tarasenko, identified agriculture as one of the strategic directions for the development of the regional economy.
