The Ministry of Agriculture of the Novgorod Region held a regular meeting of the project committee for the implementation of priority regional projects in the agro-industrial complex.
A new regional priority project was presented to the members of the project committee "Tastes of the Novgorod region" (Vkusno). As Denis Raev, director of the AIC Development Support Center, noted, this project is still under development and approval. But its main goals are already defined:
- stimulation and development of regional entrepreneurship in the field of agro-industrial complex;
- popularization of food products produced in the Novgorod region, increasing awareness, the level of trust, respectively, consumer demand for products and increasing their sales in retail chains.
— providing quality food to residents of Veliky Novgorod and the Novgorod region.
The duration of the project is 2023-2025. The first stage is planned for this year - this is the competition "Tastes of the Novgorod Region".
Reports on projects were heard: "Development of infrastructure to support small businesses in the countryside", "Development of potato seed production", "Digital agriculture".
It was noted that all projects are being implemented successfully, the indicators are being met.
According to the project for the development of potato seed production, the following indicators were achieved in 2022: "The share of potato seeds of high reproductions of own production" - for 2022, the indicator was set at 39%. According to the results of the year, this indicator amounted to 40% (102% of the planned). The plan for 2023 is 40%.
“The share of potato seeds of domestic selection” for 2022 has been set at 30%. At the end of the year, this figure was 32% (107% of the plan). The plan for 2023 is 30,5%.
Significant results of the project implementation were obtained:
- 470,1 thousand pieces of mini-tubers of potatoes were produced (106,3% compared to the level of 2021 - 442 thousand pieces);
- 127 tons of potato seeds of the first field generation were produced (100% by 2021 - 127 tons);
- 1118 tons of super-super elite potato seeds were produced (in 2021 - 616 tons).
During the period of the project implementation, an increase in the gross production of potatoes in all categories of farms by 21,0% was noted.
As part of the project to support small businesses in rural areas, in 2022 the Center for Consulting and Innovation provided 2655 consultations, prepared and published 9 titles of methodological, practical manuals, held 24 seminars, webinars, round tables on state support for the MFA, the development of cooperation, the integrated development of rural territories, etc. In addition, 4 training seminars were held with the issuance of certificates. As part of the state work, 529 information and analytical materials were prepared on the activities of SMEs and agricultural cooperatives, the system of measures to support them for authorities, individuals and legal entities.
“In 2022, the Center implemented new digital services for the provision of services, including the boxed solution “Future Farmer’s Kit” and the URM 2.0 service (remote workplace of partner organizations). The Future Farmer's Kit service is a section on the official website of the OGAU TsKI APK, which includes all the necessary information for people who are ready to start their own agribusiness and apply for state support, ”said Ignat Potapov, director of the Center.
The Digital Agriculture project was presented by Denis Raev, director of the AIC Support Center. Within the framework of the project, this year it is planned to modernize modules for automating the processes of providing state support; digitization of information about land plots from the Unified State Register of Real Estate; modernization of the personal account of an agricultural producer.
