This was stated by First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Oksana Lut in Tula at the All-Russian Forum for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship in the Agro-Industrial Complex.
Farmers of the Central and Northwestern districts, who gathered in Tula at the forum, said that today they have to pay 90 rubles per liter of diesel fuel, or even 108 thousand per ton of diesel fuel. This is confirmed by the data of Rosstat: statistics recorded that the price of diesel fuel since August 1 in some regions has increased from 58 rubles per liter to 74 rubles and more.
According to the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the measures to regulate prices for diesel fuel proposed by the Ministry of Energy should correct them. At the same time, she stressed that a global price reduction should not be expected.
“Here we depend on the dollar exchange rate. The domestic price of petroleum products will grow with the growth of the dollar. The price should reach reasonable values in two to three weeks. But it will not fall to the previous level, we understand this,” Oksana Lut said, answering the questions of the forum participants.
She also noted the problem of lack of fuel and lubricants in the midst of the harvest in some regions. This especially affected the south of the country, where the situation, according to her, is quite complicated: “We have regions where a number of producers run out of fuel, it remains for a week. And they are suspending field work.” According to Oksana Lut, the Ministry of Energy understands that the harvesting operation cannot stop. She also explained that the Ministry of Agriculture is collecting information on the regions, how much fuel will be needed for September and October. “In parallel, we will determine the fuel supply plants,” Lut said.
