The field day allows you to compare watches, learn something new,” said Andrey Knorr, Deputy Governor for Agro-Industrial Policy and Environmental Management. — In recent years, a lot of work has been done in vegetable growing in the Tomsk region, but we need to move on. The region provides itself with vegetables by about 50%, potatoes - a little more.
In 2021, with state support, the enterprises purchased two cabbage harvesters, and this year they paid for six potato harvesters.
“Vegetable growing is a technologically and financially intensive industry, any mistake brings big losses. Therefore, the regional administration has placed a special emphasis on supporting the industry: this year, 50 million rubles have been allocated from the regional budget to compensate for part of the costs of purchasing equipment for vegetable and potato farms,” said Andrey Knorr.
