A draft law on clarifying the concepts of “pesticides” and “agrochemicals” was adopted in the first reading
In accordance with the document, feed additives intended for feeding animals are excluded from the definition of "agrochemicals".
Mandatory state registration as agrochemicals of certain categories and types of materials of natural origin, which are not products of chemical production, used in agriculture in order to preserve, regulate and improve soil fertility is excluded.
Among them are peat, sugar production waste (defecation), animal waste products (litter, manure), bottom sediments of reservoirs, sewage sludge, which are raw materials for the production of organic and organomineral fertilizers, as well as mixed mineral fertilizers, consisting of registered mineral fertilizers. that have passed state registration in the prescribed manner.
As a result, there is no need to register mixed mineral fertilizers.
At the same time, it was proposed to reduce the terms for examination of the results of registration tests of pesticides and agrochemicals from six to three months, as well as to increase the terms of state registration.
