On September 12, the AgroAlliance-NN potato farm was visited by first- and second-year students of the Nizhny Novgorod State Agrotechnological University.
The guys watched the process of storing potatoes for storage. Company representatives told guests about the technology, process and necessary conditions for storing table, chip and seed potatoes.
The students also visited the field, where they were able to see the harvesting process directly from the harvester, and the enterprise’s agronomist conducted a test digging with them to calculate the yield, quality of tubers and fractional composition. Future farmers asked many questions, to which company employees and personally director Dmitry Ivanovich Kabanov tried to give detailed answers.
Lots of impressions and fresh air whetted my appetite. The excursion ended with a hot lunch in the field with the workers involved in harvesting work.
