The harvesting campaign is coming to an end in the Yaroslavl region. It is expected that this week will be the final one in harvesting, among which - potatoes, cabbage, beets, carrots.
The current year has become difficult for farmers due to both the epidemiological situation and unfavorable weather conditions, however, the enterprises managed to complete the sowing season within the established agro-technological terms, and then to timely start harvesting, which in 2020 must be removed from the area of almost 280 thousand hectares ...
So, 91 thousand grain and leguminous crops have already been harvested, the gross harvest of vegetables amounted to 43 thousand tons, potatoes - 91,8 thousand tons, which is 2019% lower than the same indicators in 8,2. But the gross yield of flax fiber in 2020 exceeds the indicators of 2019 by 2,2% and amounts to 2,36 thousand tons. In addition, the sown area for this crop has also increased - 3,51 thousand hectares against 3 thousand in 2019.
In the summer, farmers actively procured forage, the volume of which increased by 23% on average compared to last year. In total, grain fodder, coarse and succulent fodder have been procured in agricultural enterprises of the region - 31,3 centners of fodder units per standard head of cattle, which corresponds to the planned value.
On behalf of the governor Dmitry Mironov, the region's agricultural producers have already received about 800 million rubles of state support, which is 80% of the total limit provided for the current financial year. Funds were raised in full for carrying out agro-technological work (112 million rubles), for increasing productivity in dairy cattle breeding (242,3 million rubles). We are currently accepting documents for the granting of subsidies for putting agricultural land into circulation. This year, about 60 million rubles are provided for this area.
The harvest is also being completed at OOO Krasny Mayak in the Rostov region. In total, this year the sown area here amounted to 6725 hectares. Cereals were sown on 1850 hectares, which is 2019 hectares more than in 226. Potatoes occupied an area of 300 hectares, open field vegetables - 195 hectares. Oilseeds have been sown on more than 600 hectares, including rapeseed. It was planted this year on 415 hectares (+ 245 hectares by 2019). Forage crops occupied an area of 3 thousand 355 hectares.
- Now we are completing the harvesting of vegetables, we have already collected about 8,5 thousand tons of potatoes, 4,5 thousand tons of cabbage, 1,5 thousand tons of carrots and 1,6 thousand tons of beets. It remains to harvest cabbage from 18 hectares, which is about 600-700 tons, and the harvest can be considered complete, - said the head of the sales department of the company Evgeny Khabarov.
He noted that, despite the capricious spring and early summer, the company is happy with such a harvest. Good results were achieved, among other things, thanks to the use of modern agricultural technologies. Among them is the digitization of fields, which is the creation of an electronic field contour in agronomic accounting systems. As a result, the manufacturer receives electronic maps of the fields of his farm, which give the manufacturer a lot of useful opportunities (data from agrochemical surveys are accumulated for each field, new work is planned; agronomic accounting systems facilitate the entry, storage and work with this information, and integration with field data collection devices eliminates the need to enter information manually). In addition, Krasny Mayak is the only agricultural enterprise in the Yaroslavl region that uses a gas generator to generate electricity, which brings up to 25% savings.
“Today, many farmers of our region use new technologies in their work, including in the cultivation of crops, increasing both the sown area and gross volumes,” stressed Evgeny Sorokin, director of the regional department of the agro-industrial complex and consumer market. - Such measures are aimed at increasing yields, taking into account our weather conditions and climate characteristics. And we will encourage many undertakings of agricultural producers.
So, in order to increase the efficiency of agricultural production through the use of advanced experience and the use of advanced technologies in crop and livestock production, the regional department of the agro-industrial complex and consumer market will hold a competition among agricultural enterprises, peasant farms that introduce new agricultural technologies. Applications will be accepted from November 10 to December 10 inclusive. The winners will be awarded in December 2020.
Note that in order to increase crop yields, accumulate a variety of scientific developments in the field of agro-industrial complex in the Yaroslavl region, use the experience of Russian regions and other countries, a scientific working body is being created under the Public Council, and the next year 2021 will be held under the flag of introducing agricultural technologies, increasing labor productivity in the sphere of the agro-industrial complex.
