Bringing state support to agricultural producers is under the constant control of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. According to the results of 2021, out of the annual limit provided for by the consolidated budget, farmers received 99,6% of the funds for land reclamation activities, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture reports.
Last year, 6,1 billion rubles were allocated for these purposes. More than 3 billion rubles come from the federal budget under the departmental program "Development of the reclamation complex of Russia", another 2,3 billion rubles - from the federal project "Export of agricultural products." The rest of the funding in the amount of 0,8 billion rubles comes from regional budgets.
In 2021, with the involvement of state subsidies, land reclamation activities were implemented on an area of about 220 thousand hectares.
The Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (615 million rubles), the Volgograd Region (611,2 million rubles), the Stavropol Territory (425,8 million rubles) and the Saratov Region (413,4 million rubles) mastered the largest volume of budget subsidies. At the same time, within the framework of the departmental program for the development of the reclamation complex, the greatest support was provided to the farmers of the Southern Federal District (1,115 billion rubles), and within the framework of the federal project to support agro-export - to agricultural producers of the Volga Federal District (804,3 million rubles).
