In early July, the State Duma in the third final reading unanimously supported the adoption of a bill that simplifies the procedure for renting land for peasant farms. Citizens and peasant farms from January 1, 2023 are allowed to take agricultural land in state or municipal ownership for five years without bidding. The law was adopted with an amendment requested by the farmers - members of AKKOR. After five years, the lease term can be extended, and the peasant can also buy this land into his own.
How will the norms of the new law be implemented in the regions? Details were shared in the press service of the Republic of Buryatia: “According to the changes made to the republican law “On Land”, it is possible to provide land plots for rent for up to five years to a citizen or a peasant farm (KFH) for conducting activities, without bidding . These lands must be used for the intended purpose, they cannot be subleased, the land plots provided by the area should not exceed the size established by the subject of the Russian Federation, in our case it is from 3 to 20 hectares. An important point is that applications are considered in the order of filing, that is, whoever applied first has the priority right to receive land for rent.
New norms of the law were adopted in connection with changes in federal legislation, in particular the law of the Russian Federation "On the circulation of agricultural land."
