On July 1, the Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan, Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, and the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Dagestan, Shamil Dabishev, got acquainted with the construction of a vegetable storehouse with a capacity of 1,5 thousand tons near the village of Levashi, Levashinsky District.
The cost of the project is estimated at 100 million rubles, the construction is carried out by SPOK "Mahi". Of the total funding, more than 57 million rubles were provided to the investor in the form of a grant under the program “Development of Agriculture and Regulation of Agricultural Products, Raw Materials and Food Markets” for the development of the material and technical base. Abdulmuslimov noted that the technical requirements will keep vegetables fresh for a long time, which will significantly increase the volume of vegetable and potato processing in the region. The investor plans to sell vegetables worth about 63 million rubles a year, which will lead to additional tax revenues of about 2 million rubles a year. On the territory near the vegetable store, it is planned to sow grain crops, as well as drill a well for irrigation.
