Due to the cold weather this year, the planting of potatoes in the open ground in Finland was late.
According to FlashNord, in previous years, work on planting potatoes began in February. In 2018, work began two weeks late. The first potatoes have already been planted in Ryumyattyul; in other parts of the archipelago, planting will begin soon.
If weather permits, the first crop will ripen by early June.
