According to the region's Minister of Agriculture and Food Pavel Storozhuk, this year's harvesting campaign was successful. There was no shortage of equipment, largely thanks to leasing subsidies, which made it possible to compensate farmers’ costs by no less than 45%.
Large agricultural enterprises and farmers of the region harvested potatoes from an area of 921 hectares, which is 13% more than last year. The crop yield increased by 30%.
