By 2021, Kirishi Bakery PJSC intends to build a chips factory in the Leningrad Region.
The issues of land development for a new industrial facility on Thursday, December 12, were discussed at a meeting of the company's leaders with the head of the regional Gosstroynadzor Denis Gorbunov. The meeting was also attended by the Governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko, who supported this project, calling it important for Kirishi. ABN reports.
The company for the production of chips is supposed to be built on the territory of the former bakery. The volume of investments in the project is not specified. The company notes that the new plant will give Kirisham several dozen jobs.
Earlier, “Kommersant-SPb” has already written about the possible construction of a plant for the production of chips in Kirishi. Such intentions were expressed by the German snack manufacturer Lorenz Snack World last August. Investments in this project were estimated at € 15 million.
