In 2019, only seven Lipetsk producers received subsidies to reimburse part of the costs of paying insurance premiums accrued under agricultural insurance contracts in the field of crop production. In 2021, this figure increased to 36, in 2022 – to 103, and in the current season, 126 agricultural enterprises have already benefited from state support.

As Alexey Telkov, head of the Lipetsk Region Agriculture Department, noted, agricultural insurance is a kind of safety net for farmers. And local authorities will continue to develop this direction.
