The cost of agricultural products in Lithuania increased by 2021 percent in 7,8, according to data from the country's Department of Statistics.
At the same time, the cost of crop production increased by 8,1 percent. This was due to an increase in the purchase price by 13,7 percent.
Most of all, the purchase prices increased for rapeseed (26,9 percent), potatoes (26,5), vegetables (13,7) and cereals (12,7). However, due to lower yields, the volume of crop production decreased by 4,9 percent. Most of all, the harvests of sugar beet (16,7 percent), legumes (13,1), cereals (8,6) and potatoes (7,8) decreased.
The cost of agricultural services provided in 2021 compared to 2020 increased by 13 percent.
