The BiFresh company will open a plant for processing vegetables and fruits in the urban district of Podolsk, reports the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.
“The volume of investment in the construction and launch of a plant for processing agricultural products of the BiFresh company will amount to 350 million rubles. The enterprise will create 35 jobs for residents of the Moscow region. The planned commissioning date for the facility is 2026,” Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region Ekaterina Zinovieva said about the project.
As part of the investment project, it is planned to create an industrial complex with its own production of canned fruits and vegetables, storage and processing of agricultural products.
“The launch of a new production facility by BiFresh will allow us to replace imported products with canned and frozen semi-finished vegetables and fruits. For these purposes, the company received a land plot with an area of 2,9 hectares, where a production complex with an area of 10 thousand square meters will be built. m,” said Natalya Adigamova, Minister of Property Relations of the Moscow Region.
The company's products will include semi-finished products, vegetable mixtures, sauces, jams, frozen vegetables, fruits and berries. The use of high-quality domestic raw materials will allow us to achieve high consumer properties of the finished product. The company has already established itself in the market - the company has been operating since 2008. BiFresh works in partnership with large Russian retail chains and food production facilities, and also has long-term contracts for the supply of raw materials with large agricultural enterprises in the Moscow, Bryansk, Volgograd regions, Krasnodar and Stavropol territories. Thanks to the new production, the company will be able to expand its presence in core markets.
