“Nine vegetable storage facilities with a total capacity of 44,4 thousand tons are at a high stage of readiness; completion of work is planned for November-December. The facilities will be built in Lukhovitsy, Yegoryevsk, Taldom, Kolomna, Dmitrovsky District, Shatura, Serebryanye Prudy, Sergiev Posad, Shakhovskaya,” Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region Georgy Filimonov, who supervises the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, said in an interview with Interfax.
He added that this year three vegetable storage facilities with a capacity of 15,5 thousand tons have already been built.
Next year, it is planned to build nine more vegetable storage facilities for 102,5 thousand tons in the urban districts: Dmitrovsky, Yegoryevsk, Kolomna, Domodedovo, Shakhovskaya, Lotoshino and Stupino.
