Before the New Year, the Law of the Moscow Region No. 280/2021-OZ “On Certain Issues of Granting Land Plots in State or Municipal Ownership for Free Use for the Peasant (Farmer’s) Business of Its Activities” was adopted.
This law has become an important stage in the work carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region to attract investors to the region from the agricultural sector, to create favorable business conditions for agricultural producers.
The law makes it possible for peasant farms operating in the Moscow region to receive land plots of regional or municipal property for free use for up to 6 years. The minimum size of a land plot is 10 hectares, according to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region.
The adopted law provides for the provision of land plots from the list, which is approved by the Ministry of Property Relations of the Moscow Region.
“At present, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region has selected land plots of regional and municipal property to form a list,” Minister Sergei Voskresensky said.
It is planned to start accepting applications for the provision of land plots for free use in April 2022.
