Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev and Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave an official start to the work of one of the main exhibitions of the achievements of the domestic agro-industrial complex - the All-Russian Field Day - 2023. During the solemn ceremony, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture read out a welcoming speech from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
According to the head of state, for many years the large-scale exhibition has brought together workers of the agro-industrial complex from different regions of the country. “Its rich program provides participants with an excellent opportunity in a businesslike, constructive manner to discuss pressing professional issues, exchange experiences and best practices. Demonstrate innovative agricultural technologies, impressive achievements in the agricultural and livestock sectors of the domestic agro-industrial complex,” Vladimir Putin emphasized.
The greeting also noted that one of the central, bright events of the exhibition will be the Russian Open Plowing Championship, which brought together the strongest teams of machine operators from Russia and a number of foreign countries. The President expressed confidence that both the exhibition and the championship would be successful and would contribute to raising the prestige of professions related to agriculture, attracting talented, energetic, purposeful youth to the industry.
As Dmitry Patrushev noted, the All-Russian Field Day is a showcase of advanced achievements in agriculture and related industries. “The Russian agro-industrial complex, of course, has something to be proud of. Last year, agricultural production showed record growth rates. Despite the new challenges, we managed to collect historic harvests, fully provide the domestic market with everything necessary and export significant volumes of our quality products. But we are not resting on our laurels and continue to work to improve the efficiency of the entire agro-industrial complex. The result of this work depends literally on each of us. For our part, we will continue to provide farmers with all the necessary support,” the head of the Ministry of Agriculture emphasized.
As part of the grand opening, Dmitry Patrushev and Rustam Minnikhanov awarded the best workers of the agro-industrial complex, and also examined the exposition of the exhibition.
