As the head of the regional Association of Farmers Stanislav Sankeyev notes, this year many farmers are thinking about growing potatoes, turnips, beets, carrots, onions, garlic and other vegetables, and developing berry farms.
Grain and leguminous crops were allocated 619 thousand hectares, sunflower - 290 thousand hectares, fodder - 99 thousand hectares. They plan to give 745 thousand hectares for spring sowing, 216 will be left for fallow.
“According to weather forecasts, April will be warm, which will allow us to start field work at the usual time, despite the late spring. The snow is melting fast. The equipment has been prepared for aggregated work, the labor collectives of farmers are waiting for favorable conditions to enter the field, ”the agricultural department reports.
According to the monitoring of monoliths of winter grain crops, crops are in good and satisfactory condition on 267 thousand hectares - 97,7%, seedlings were not found on 6,2 thousand hectares - 2,3%.
Farmers must complete preparations for spring sowing by April 15, by which time the farms will receive a full per hectare subsidy. According to current data, producers have 103 tons of seeds of grain and leguminous crops, more than 85 tons of mineral fertilizers. The need for diesel fuel is about 4 thousand tons. The readiness of machinery and equipment is approaching 100%.
