The owner of the fast food restaurants "Vkusno - i dotka" Alexander Govor summed up the results of the first year of the chain's operation during a press conference held on June 5 in Moscow, reports TASS.
He noted that since the opening of the network, 850 restaurants have started working, and in the next two and a half years it is planned to open up to a thousand restaurants of the network. In particular, by the end of 2023, the company expects to launch another 50 restaurants in the Russian Federation.
At the same time, Alexander Govor stressed that the Vkusno — i Tochka chain does not plan to enter the markets of neighboring countries in the next two years.
“As for the prospects, we went to the Altai Territory, went to the Republic of Altai, Nakhodka, Nalchik. We are entering regions where we are sure that they will work and bring an effect. As for the near abroad, in the next two years we will focus on what I said, and then we will consider further geography,” Govor said.
Speaking about the network's unrealized plans to enter the markets of Belarus and Kazakhstan, Govor noted that the Belarusian side decided to launch its own brand. “We treat them very well, this is a friendly country. If they apply, we will always be happy to cooperate with them,” he said.
“As for Kazakhstan, it was one franchisor who was in the central strip of the Russian Federation, now they are divided. Kazakhstan, like Belarus, removed the McDonald's brand, and the authorities probably did not allow them the brand "Vkusno - and that's it." But if they ask to sign an agreement with us, then we will be happy to do this from tomorrow, ”added Govor.
Recall that the restaurants "Vkusno - i dotka" began work on June 12, 2022 instead of the McDonald's fast food chain that left Russia
