To date, fertilizer producers have almost 100% met the needs of the Russian agro-industrial complex in mineral fertilizers for the whole of 2022, reports RAPU official website. In a number of regions, advance deliveries of mineral fertilizers for the spring sowing campaign have already begun, in compliance with the current conditions of the producers' trade policies.
Producers of mineral fertilizers voluntarily fixed prices for mineral fertilizers more than a year ago. Currently, in accordance with the recommendations of the FAS Russia, agreed with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Economic Development, the maximum prices for mineral fertilizers for the agro-industrial complex are fixed in the trade policies of manufacturers and posted on their official websites.
The recommendations agreed by the departments provide for a phased indexation of marginal prices for mineral fertilizers for agricultural producers in 2022: by 5% from June 1, by 5-10% from September 1, and by 8,4-8,6% from December 1. Producers - members of the Russian Association of Fertilizer Producers - strictly adhere to these rules, without going beyond them.
Producers adequately assess the situation, and the interests and capabilities of Russian consumers are a priority. The presence of a price cap does not oblige producers to work at the maximum allowable price level.
