CJSC Kulikovo is one of the largest and most successful agro-industrial enterprises in the Moscow region. The agricultural holding participates in the federal program "Development of reclamation of agricultural land in Russia". According to Sergei Arustamov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CJSC Kulikovo, this year, due to the program, the area under potatoes has been increased by 300 hectares.
“Since 2013, under this program, we have been able to put into operation more than 1500 hectares of land, the company has invested 1,334 billion rubles in this. Under the federal program and thanks to the support of our governor Andrei Vorobyov, a large part of this amount is returned in the form of subventions. This is effective, real support for the Russian agricultural producer,” said Sergey Arustamov.
In the spring, the enterprise planted a record number of potatoes - 1050 hectares, carrots - 271 hectares, beets - 190 hectares and cabbage - 220 hectares. A good harvest is expected.
“Vegetables grown by this agricultural company are always bought by large retail chains with great willingness. The active participation of the enterprise in the federal reclamation project helps to return land to agricultural circulation, increasing the volume of products grown on the Yakhroma floodplain,” said Ilya Ponochevny, head of the Dmitrovsky urban district.
