These conclusions can be reached by analyzing the data obtained over the past week. The number of participants in the magazine's survey has declined.
Recall that the Potato System magazine has been monitoring potato prices since March 10, 2022. Interim results of the survey are published weekly.
However, we have results to share.
Selling prices for table potatoes (lots of 20 tons or more) in the period from March 29 to April 4 in the regions of the country were at the level of 34 to 45 rubles/kg.
Potatoes were sold at 34 rubles/kg in the Astrakhan and Nizhny Novgorod regions. True, in the first region it was a batch of caliber 50+ without damage, and in the second - caliber 45+ with a few remarks.
A little more expensive - at 35 rubles per kg - was sold by an agricultural producer from Udmurtia. A batch of caliber 50+ was sold, without comment.
An intermediary paid 38 rubles per kg to a potato grower from the Tula region. A batch of products in caliber 50+ went on sale, without comment.
And the highest prices, according to our survey, are currently established in the Novgorod region. A batch of table potatoes of caliber 50+, without comment, was delivered to the trading network at 45 rubles per kg.
