Since the beginning of 2023, the North-Western Interregional Directorate of Rosselkhoznadzor, as part of monitoring the safe handling of pesticides and agrochemicals at checkpoints located on the state border of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg, Leningrad and Pskov regions, has controlled the import of 58 imported batches of pesticides and agrochemicals with a total weight of 1,4 thousand tons.
Pesticides produced in Hungary, France, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Belgium and China were imported in large volumes - 46 batches in the amount of 840 tons, agrochemicals from Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Italy - 12 batches with a total weight of 585,8 tons. The consignments proceeded to St. Petersburg, Moscow, Samara Region, Krasnodar and Altai Territories.
In the course of monitoring the import into the country, the Rosselkhoznadzor Department took samples of imported drugs. Laboratory studies conducted in the St. Petersburg branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Center for Grain Quality Assessment" confirmed their compliance with the requirements of the current registration certificates of state registration.
After passing all the necessary procedures, the batches of imported products were sent to the addresses of the recipients.
