Since 2021, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation has been introducing an information system of digital services for the agro-industrial complex, the trial operation of which will take place in pilot regions, the Ministry of Agriculture reports with reference to Deputy Minister of Agriculture Olga Gatagova, who spoke at the conference “Digitalization of the agro-industrial complex”.
According to her, the information system as a module of the national platform of the agro-industrial complex will increase the efficiency of administration in the industry, the speed of bringing funds to farmers and the transparency of the processes of providing state support measures, and reduce the costs of agricultural producers for reporting.
Already in 2022, electronic filing of digital applications for subsidies will be available in 84 regions of the country, 100% of industry reports will be submitted through the personal account of the agricultural producer, up to 75% of subsidies and 50% of soft loans will be processed in digital form.
The event participants discussed the prospects for the introduction of digital technologies and industry platform solutions. As a result, Gatagova instructed to work out the issue of including the Tver region in the number of pilot regions.
As the head of the Ministry of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev said at the Russian Field Day in July this year, the pilot project is planned to be launched in 9 regions.
In general, by the end of 2024, all public services included in the authority of the Ministry of Agriculture should be provided in electronic form.
