Kiremko celebrates the sale of the 30th steam cleaner Invicta for 30 months
AVIKO CHOOSES THE BEST
«By purchasing a steam cleaner Kiremko Invicta, we had no idea we were making an anniversary purchase", Says the Aviko Belgium project manager Kor Cool. - We chose this car because the brand Kiremko Is a guarantee of the highest reliability. We are familiar with him from other Aviko enterprises. Our main purchase criteria were efficiency, power, operational reliability and total equipment cost. As always, when launching large new projects - such as the Poperinge plant - we carefully study all the options that the market has to offer, and Kiremko once again turned out to be the best. With this attitude, we meet the Invicta steam cleaner - the 30th machine sold by the manufacturer over the past 30 months. And we congratulate Kiremko with this impressive event. "
HIGHEST VALUE FOR THE CUSTOMER
CEO Kiremko Andy Gowing: “We have always strived to be a supplier of advanced equipment for the entire potato processing industry, including factories for the production of French fries, potato flakes and chips, convenience foods and fresh potato products. To be innovative and constantly improve, we work closely with our customers on a daily basis. In this way, we are meeting the needs of the market for improvement, driving higher productivity, more capacity, advances in automation, lower energy consumption and an environmental concern. "
STEAM CLEANING IS A SCIENCE
Steam peeling has become an important process in a turnkey potato processing, in the last 50 years when Kiremko built their experience in this field. It is the preferred peeling method for the French fry industry and has become a standard method for fresh peeled potatoes, pasteurized potatoes and the flake industry. Due to the Invicta’s unique stainless steel vessel shape, the whole surface of every potato is heated evenly by steam. As a result of this optimal heat transfer, the steam time decreases significantly. The large diameter inlet door allows high capacity processing, for large or small sized potatoes and small and large batches. The Kiremko Invicta peels more efficiently and thinly than any other steam peeler, with XNUMX to XNUMX% increase of yield. The secret of this success is the combination of an extremely short cycle time, up to XNUMX% faster, with quick filling and steam exhaust. This way the most potatoes per hour can be processed at the highest possible yields.
Thanks to the unique shape of the Invicta stainless steel vessel, the surface of each tuber is evenly heated by steam. As a result of this optimal heat transfer, the steam delivery time is significantly reduced.
The large diameter entrance door facilitates high processing power for potatoes (both large and small tubers, as well as large and small batches). Kiremko Invicta cleans more efficiently and finer than any other steam cleaner, with a 5-10% increase in finished product yield. The secret to this success is the combination of an extremely short cycle time (25% reduction) with fast filling and steam release. This way more potatoes can be processed per hour with the highest possible yield.
ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTION
CEO Kiremko Andy Gowing notes: “To make the production line environmentally friendly, we install a condensate removal system, which contributes to energy savings (we can save more than 25 kW per ton of refined product at 50 degrees). Vapor emissions can be reduced to almost zero. We have developed a silencer to reduce the noise generated when steam is discharged by the steam cleaner. The machine usually emits an unpleasant sound when discharging steam, which can cause refusal to issue an environmental permit. Muffler Kiremko was developed to convert distant low frequency sounds to higher frequencies, which can then be significantly reduced in a muffler. Reducing energy consumption and reducing emissions - both steam and noise - have a big impact on the environment. If you add up the energy consumption of 30 steam cleaners Kiremko Invicta for a year, it turns out that this is the equivalent of 2 million m3 natural gas, which can heat about 1100 homes a year. "
LOWEST COST OF OWNERSHIP
The Invicta steam cleaner is not only environmentally friendly, but also durable. The shape of the vessel, the stainless steel of which it is made, and the design to exclude direct exposure to heat and steam, all ensure that Invicta requires minimal maintenance. "We have clients - says Andy Gowing, - who, from their own experience, compare Invicta with other brands and come to an unequivocal conclusion: it is better and more durable. No replacement of vessels every few years, no costly repairs or maintenance due to rust or other reasons. "
For Kiremko the Invicta steam cleaner is only part of the success. "We are currently working on a new generation deep fryer, and this equipment will follow the same principle: to be the best", - sums up Andy Gowing.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE CLEANING PROCESS
To optimize the efficiency of the Invicta steam cleaner, Kiremko developed PeelGuard®. Andy Gowing explains: “The PeelGuard® is an optical built-in inspection area equipped with a weighing conveyor so the cleaning result can be accurately calculated. The system determines the thickness of the peel and the hob to continuously optimize the steam cleaner settings. Thus, PeelGuard® guarantees a constantly optimized cleaning yield and up-to-date information on the quality of the raw materials used. This information can be available to the client in MES and / or ERP systems».
ONE STEP TO THE GENERAL SOLUTION
For Kiremko steam cleaning is one of the main stages of potato processing. But Andy Gowing stresses: “We like to call ourselves end-to-end solution providers. When customers want to order a whole line with the option of purchasing all of its components through one supplier, Kiremko provides them with an undeniable advantage in the areas of cleaning, slicing, blanching, drying and roasting. Together with our strategic partner Idaho Steel, we can add flake drying and forming to this list. And to ensure all other processing steps, we also have a network of reliable partners. The only question is when will we install our 150th cereal drum or 200th fryer? Follow the news".
