Marais Group, a French producer and supplier of fresh vegetables, has introduced a new packaging option for its products: cardboard and wood.
“We want to reduce the amount of plastic used,” a company spokesman said.
Young potatoes of the brand Marais Group (weighing 0,5 and 1 kg) will be placed in wooden boxes. It will go on sale in late February.
In addition to this culture, the company is engaged in the production of tomatoes, leeks, celery. The company has developed cardboard packaging for these products.
