Experts from the hh.ru platform have compiled a list of the most in-demand professions in the agro-industrial complex based on the results of 2022 and early 2023.
At the end of the year, the top three leading professions in terms of the number of vacancies in Russia in the agricultural industry and the agro-industry included sales and customer service managers, agronomists and drivers.
Compared to 2021, there have been changes in the agricultural labor market in the Russian Federation. Last year's leader - the profession of a driver - has shifted to third place.
The sales manager profession has once again become a leader in demand, regaining the first position it held in 2019 and 2020. The profession of agronomist has risen from number 4 in 2021 to number two in 2022.
The accounting profession was the most stable profession, the only one to retain the same seventh place as last year. Engineers, technologists, service engineers, packers returned to the top 2022 most in demand in 20 (according to the results of 2021, they were not included in the rating).
In general, for the whole of 2022, Russian employers posted almost 100 new vacancies in the field of agriculture. This is 000% more than in 19. The largest share of jobs at the end of last year falls on the enterprises of the sphere "Agriculture, crop production, animal husbandry" - these employers posted 2021% of the total vacancies last year. In second place were companies from the "Agricultural products (promotion, wholesale trade)" industry - 70%, the remaining jobs were offered by employers from the "Fishing, fish farming" industry.
It is noteworthy that in 2022, in comparison with 2021, it was in the field of fisheries that the largest increase in demand for new personnel was observed (+ 39% of new jobs per year compared to 2021). In the field of agriculture, the increase in new vacancies year-on-year + 22%, in the field of promotion of agricultural products + 14%.
The top five in terms of demand for new employees among Russian regions include Moscow (10% of jobs in the country), Krasnodar Territory (7,6%), Voronezh Region (6,7%), Moscow Region (5,7%) and Rostov Region (5%).
At the same time, among the leading regions in terms of the highest demand for new specialists in the agricultural industry in 2022, there are record holders in terms of the increase in new vacancies. Thus, the largest increase in the number of new jobs in the agricultural industry last year compared to 2021 was in Tambov (+97% of new vacancies year-on-year), Belgorod (+57%), and Lipetsk regions (+42%).
The range of salaries in vacancies in the agricultural industry at the end of the year is from 35 rubles to 605 rubles. At the same time, of course, employers can offer higher income, and not always to candidates for top positions.
So, one of the highest salaries in the agricultural industry in 2022 was offered to the deputy director for sales of livestock (income up to 500 rubles per month) or the head of the regional procurement department for the “grain, oilseeds” line (income up to 000 rubles per hand), or sales representative for the sale of humic fertilizers in the regions of the Russian Federation (income up to 450 rubles).
At the moment, all three vacancies are closed, workers are found. Right now, the highest salary in the Russian labor market in the agricultural industry is offered in a vacancy for the chief agronomist of the holding in Voronezh (income from 250 rubles).
