The organizers of the III International specialized exhibition of technologies for plant growing and animal husbandry "AgroExpoSibir - 2020" and the II International Agrarian Forum "Agro-industrial complex of Siberia: the present and the future" decided to cancel the events in the usual format.
The reason for this decision was the coronavirus pandemic. If most regions in the West of Russia have already reached the second stage to remove restrictions, and some have reached the third, then the Siberian Federal District continues to remain at the first stage, and most of its regions have not even reached the peak of incidence.
In the Altai Territory and the city of Barnaul, where the exhibition and forum were to be held, according to the regional Rospotrebnadzor, the peak of incidence has not yet been passed. In this connection, a number of restrictions remain and there are health risks for exhibitors, visitors and partners of the exhibition.
The AgroExpoSibir exhibition and the Agroindustrial Complex of Siberia: Present and Future Forum have proven their relevance, so the organizers do not intend to completely abandon the events. According to the decision, in 2020 AgroExpoSibir will be held online. The international agrarian forum "Agro-industrial complex of Siberia - the present and the future" will also be held in a modified form.
The organizers will provide more detailed information in the near future.
The AgroExpoSibir exhibition in the Siberian region will be held in the usual, real format again in the fall of 2021.
