Spring sowing of crops in the Tyumen region has already been conducted in more than half of the areas, they told Vlukh.ru in the department of the agro-industrial complex of the Tyumen region. This is over 432 thousand hectares of the planned 809 thousand.
The leaders are the Ishim district, where farmers have already sown 19 percent of the fields as of May 67. They are followed by the Abatsky and Sladkovsky districts, where 62 and 61 percent of the work has already been completed, respectively. But the farms of the Golyshmanovsky urban district, Nizhnetavdinsky, Sorokinsky and Yalutorovsky districts can boast of 100 percent completion of the sowing of industrial crops.
In Sladkovsky, Omutinsky and Vagaysky districts, in turn, completed the planting of potatoes. As for vegetables of open ground, they are planted on an area of 687 hectares. This is 48 percent of the planned.
In addition to sowing and planting crops, Tyumen farmers also carry out work on the introduction of mineral fertilizers and harrowing perennial grasses.
