State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ivan Lebedev made a working trip to the Tyumen region, where he attended the inauguration of a new potato processing plant.
More than 1,1 billion rubles were invested in the construction and equipment of the enterprise. Moreover, since 2016, Agrofirm KRiMM LLC, which implemented this investment project, received 633,9 million rubles of budget funds.
As noted by Ivan Lebedev, systemic measures of state support, including such as a preferential mechanism for lending to farmers and reimbursement of direct costs incurred, have created serious financial instruments for the development of Russia's agro-industrial complex. The success of the country's agribusiness is based on the achievements of each individual region, the deputy minister said.
According to Ivan Lebedev, upon reaching its design capacity, the plant will produce up to 17 thousand tons of finished products per year, and its maximum productivity is designed for the annual processing of about 30 thousand tons of root crops. Thanks to the application of Fresh cut technology, new for Russia, consumers will receive a purified pasteurized raw product in a vacuum package with a shelf life of about three months.
In the near future, the Agrofirm plans to conclude agreements on export deliveries of its products to the CIS countries, as well as to establish seed deliveries to other Russian enterprises.
