For the first time, over 280 tons of vegetables from the Kamchatka Territory were sent for sale in retail chains of the region’s capital, the city of Anadyr.
The Primorsky interregional department of Rosselkhoznadzor reported that the agency issued 11 quarantine certificates for ware potatoes with a total weight of 205 tons. And two more certificates each - for 40 tons of beets and 40 tons of carrots.
Kamchatka shared its agricultural products with its neighbor thanks to the high harvest obtained on the peninsula this year. For the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, whose territory is almost entirely located in the permafrost zone, each such supply is important.
