The release of mechanized complexes for growing potatoes will establish the Chelyabinsk Traktor plant, said Alexei Titov, a representative of the Chelyabinsk Region Industry Development Fund TASS agency.
“The Industrial Development Fund of the Chelyabinsk Region compensates more than 11 million rubles in the form of a grant to reimburse part of the costs of the research and development work carried out by the Traktor plant, which is leading a project to create a potato growing complex based on the Uralets-250 tractor with cabin," the official said.
The total cost of the project will be 24,389 million rubles.
Alexey Titov said that work on the project continues from the first quarter of 2020 to the third quarter of 2022, serial production will begin in 2023. The enterprise has developed a technology for growing potatoes using a multifunctional plow, which allows reducing or combining a number of operations familiar to farmers. “Due to this, the complex becomes available for small forms of management, the level of quality of the processes performed does not decrease,” Titov emphasized.
Recall that the Traktor plant is one of the largest manufacturers of mini-tractors in Russia, located in the city of Yemanzhelinsk, Chelyabinsk Region.
