Starting January 1, 2018, the Russian government ceases to implement a number of federal targeted programs (FTP), which are integrated into pilot state programs. The corresponding decision was approved by decree No. 1243-r of October 12, 2017, which was signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, the government press service said.
The document, in particular, terminates the implementation of the Federal Target Program "Sustainable Development of Rural Territories for 2014–2017 and for the Period Until 2020" and “Development of Land Reclamation of Agricultural Land of Russia for 2014–2020”, the implementation of which from 2018 will be carried out as part of the State Program for the Development of Agriculture and regulation of agricultural products, raw materials and food markets for 2013–2020.
"The adopted decision will allow to ensure the development, implementation and assessment of the effectiveness of these state programs on the principles of project management, as well as the execution of state contracts concluded in order to implement FTP, which are integrated into pilot state programs, in accordance with the conditions established by such state contracts", - explained in the message reasons for the decision.
