The Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region Sergei Voskresensky announced the start of the construction of an agricultural production center on the territory of the city district of Elektrostal.
“The permit for the construction of a distribution center for agricultural products“ Freshhistory ”in Elektrostal was received by the“ Victoria Estate ”company. Project with an area of 20 thousand sq. m implies the creation of refrigerated chambers for storing strawberries, mushrooms, tomatoes, cucumbers, as well as freezing warehouses for storing frozen products such as fish and meat. Warehouses for dry products are also planned, ”said Sergei Voskresensky.
The creation of a distribution center is planned at the site of the industrial park, and will contribute to the promotion of Russian agricultural products to foreign markets.
“USC will provide services for sorting, processing and packaging of vegetables, berries and other products, their transportation outside the Russian Federation, internal and external logistics services. It is planned to complete the construction of the facility in the 3rd quarter of 2022, ”stressed Sergei Voskresensky.
The minister added that the concept of the project was formed on the basis of the best international experience of similar projects.
