An agrotechnological exhibition "All-Russian Field Day - 2017", the largest exhibition-demonstration of advanced technologies in agricultural production, has opened in Tatarstan today. The forum is held from 5 to 7 July on the experimental fields of the TatNIISH in the Laishevsky region of the republic.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Agriculture of Russia Alexander Tkachev and his colleague from China Chanfu opened the "All-Russian Field Day" in the pouring rain. Tkachev said that prolonged downpours should be fruitful for Tatarstan.
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, speaking with a welcoming speech, noted that over the past three years, the import of agricultural products in the country has decreased by 2,5 times. “We are increasing in production volume, increasing in the quality of production, and, of course, we are returning to our own Russian land, thereby displacing imported products,” Tkachev said. According to him, in 5-7 years Russia will completely switch to the production of domestic food products and will be able to enter other markets.
Chinese Agriculture Minister Han Changfu noted that Kazan is very popular in China. “Russia and China have increased the exchange of investments in the agricultural sector. China has a large agricultural market, there is high complementarity between us, ”the minister said.
“All-Russian Field Day” has established itself as an effective platform for establishing business contacts, Minnikhanov said, recalling that the exhibition is being held for the third time.
More than 330 companies from Russian regions, as well as Belarus and Germany take part in the forum. The exhibition features over 1,1 thousand types of machinery and equipment for the cultivation of agricultural crops, livestock and processing industries.
A novelty of the 2017 program is the "Robotics" section, which presents unmanned aerial vehicles and light agricultural aircraft from Tatarstan manufacturers. Among the exhibits there is a prototype of a quadrocopter with an increased payload for processing crops and aircraft of the Farmer series.
More than 60 hectares are occupied by the presentation areas of four sections of the exhibition: "Crop production", "Livestock", "Campus" with equipment for various areas of the agro-industrial complex and "Engineering and technical support of the agro-industrial complex". The last site also hosted the "Tractor Show" - a competition among the best drivers of agricultural machinery.
The forum will host round tables, meetings, conferences, seminars and various master classes. The rich business program of the exhibition is designed to help the specialists of the agro-industrial complex in solving topical issues of the industry's development, including import substitution, problems of farm production, agro-climatic risks, technical modernization, personnel training, etc.
