This year 1,245,0 thousand rubles have been allocated for the implementation of the Social Potato project. 358 families received potato seeds at the expense of the seed fund of 2019, at the expense of the republican budget - 3084 families. Of these, 1340 families received potato and vegetable seeds, and 1744 families received vegetable seeds.
Poor families with 1-2 children receive 25 kg of potato seeds and 500 grams of vegetable seeds per family. Large low-income families with 3 or more children are given 50 kg of potato seeds and 500 grams of vegetable seeds per family. Citizens living alone should receive 25 kg of potato seeds and 500 g of vegetable seeds.
To implement the project, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the Republic of Tyva signed six contracts for the supply of 41 kg of potato seeds with four local producers for a total of 825 thousand rubles. For the purchase of 853 sets of vegetable seeds, an agreement was concluded with the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhoztsentr" for a total amount of 3084 thousand rubles.
As reported by the regional Centers for Social Assistance to Families and Children, 100% of all families that received help are seeds of vegetables and potatoes.
