The agricultural cooperative "Development of Krasnoyarsk" in mid-August 2021 put into operation the only self-propelled 2-row sieving harvester in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The car was purchased on terms of co-financing: the purchase price was 47 million rubles, of which 23 million were grants from the Ministry of Agriculture allocated for the development of potato growing in 2020, the rest was paid from the shareholders' own funds.
“Krasnoyarsk agrarians are acutely aware of changes in standard climatic conditions due to global warming - they need more modern equipment, people to plant and quickly harvest a high-quality crop, especially when it rains,” said Alexander Zhelezny, head of the agricultural cooperative. - The business has practically no opportunity to experiment with expensive equipment. It is good that there are grant programs that contribute to the innovative development of agriculture. If the harvester shows a good result, the rest of the potato farms will be able to think about purchasing it. Every year, many enterprises do not have time to remove potatoes from the field due to bad weather. "
Development of Krasnoyarya will provide services for the collection of potatoes in the fields of cooperative members in the Sukhobuzimsky district, so far two contracts have been concluded - with the agricultural enterprise Dary Malinovki and the peasant farm Osen.
“The operation of a self-propelled harvester will reduce the cost of potatoes due to the high productivity of the machine, which is ready to work continuously for a long time, to perform its functions in rainy and dry weather, at any time of the day. The harvester is equipped with a system that allows you to quickly adjust the machine to changing working conditions by pressing a button - this process is fully automated. The ability to unload potatoes on the go adds up to 30% productivity. All this will allow agricultural producers to harvest at a rate of up to 20 hectares per day, with a volume of 800 tons of potatoes per day. An ordinary harvester harvests 5-7 hectares a day, - said Vasily German, a shareholder of an agricultural cooperative, chairman of the board of directors of the agricultural holding "SHP" Dary Malinovki ".
