According to the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin, currently 70 investment projects are being implemented in the Nizhny Novgorod agro-industry for a total amount of more than 38 billion rubles.
“We closely monitor the implementation of each of these projects, I instructed the Development Corporation to provide maximum support to investors,” Gleb Nikitin emphasized. - The construction of new production in districts is important not only for improving the food security of the region. These are additional orders for local contractors, new permanent jobs for residents. State support for large investment projects in agriculture is, in essence, support for all related production chains, local small businesses. ”
According to the first deputy governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Yevgeny Lyulin, the growth of domestic agricultural production will help curb rising food prices.
“The higher the competition in the market and the more local manufacturers on the shelves, the less the region depends on third-party suppliers who can impose their conditions. Such risks are especially high in conditions when panic attacks associated with a pandemic can greatly affect demand, ”said Yevgeny Lyulin.
“A significant part of the ongoing investment projects is the construction of new milk production,” added the First Deputy Governor. - Dairy products are the basis of the diet, we have long been working to increase the share of these products of local production in stores, and the task does not lose its relevance. In addition, new production of greenhouse vegetables and meat is being built, which is very lacking in the Nizhny Novgorod region. For example, still the majority of cucumbers and tomatoes on our shelves in winter are imported. ”
According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, among the largest investment projects: the construction of a greenhouse complex for year-round vegetable growing in the Borsky district (LLC Nizhny Novgorod Greenhouse Combine), a pig farm for 6000 heads in the Bolshemurashkinsky district (NNPP-2 LLC), a greenhouse complex for production minicubers of potatoes in the Gorodets district (Aksentis LLC), a terminal for storing and sorting potatoes in the Gorodets district (TNV Mir, Yashchenko A.V. and company), pig farms for 6 thousand heads in Ardatovsky and Sergachsky rai onah, as well as the reconstruction of a dairy sheep farm for 2000 animals in the Lyskovsky district (LLC Druzhba).
Recall that grants of up to 5 million rubles will be available to Nizhny Novgorod this year under the Agrostartap program as part of the national project Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurship Initiatives. In particular, entrepreneurs who plan to develop dairy farming can count on the maximum grant size.
