The construction of a large potato storage is nearing completion in the Taldomsky urban district of the Moscow region. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region Andrei Razin.
“The construction of a potato storage facility with a sorting zone with a capacity of 3 thousand tons of simultaneous storage is coming to an end in Taldom city district. Currently, the main construction work has been completed. Also, work on the creation of a fire reservoir is nearing completion on the territory, ”said Andrei Razin.
According to the minister, the Valmiks company is implementing a project for the construction of a potato storage facility.
“The volume of investments in the project is over 40 million rubles. According to the plan, the potato storage will be put into operation in December this year, ”said Andrei Razin.
“Also in the IV quarter of 2020, the region plans to commission additional capacities of three more potato storage facilities - Agrofirma Sosnovka with a capacity of 6,3 thousand tons, Agrofirma Bunyatino -10,4 thousand tons and Agroforward -12 thousand tons. tons. The creation of modern potato storages will allow the Moscow region to keep the leadership in the Russian Federation in potato processing, ”stressed Andrei Razin.
