Potato System magazine publishes a daily report on the situation in the table potato market. We receive information about prices and harvesting progress from agricultural producers from different regions of Russia.
As of September 12, 2022, Russian potato growers were selling table potatoes (lots of 20 tons or more) at prices ranging from 10 to 35 rubles/kg. The cheapest products could be purchased in the Udmurt Republic (10 rubles/kg) and the Nizhny Novgorod Region (10,50 rubles/kg).
Potatoes were slightly more expensive in Mari El (11,00 rubles/kg), Rostov (11,00 rubles/kg), Chelyabinsk regions (11,50 rubles/kg). In the Leningrad, Kirov, Tula, Novosibirsk regions, potatoes can be purchased at a price of 12,00 rubles / kg.
The average price level (from 13 to 14 rubles/kg) was established in the Vologda, Pskov, Kostroma, Samara, Kemerovo regions; Krasnoyarsk, Krasnodar Territories and the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria.
Prices
Slightly higher (from 15 to 17 rubles/kg) the bar was raised in the Tambov, Omsk, Yaroslavl, Orenburg, Ulyanovsk, Moscow, Novgorod regions and the Altai Territory. And the highest prices for potatoes (20 rubles/kg) were recorded in the Primorsky Territory and (35,00 rubles/kg) in the Stavropol Territory.
