FAS Russia has satisfied the request of the Dutch company Lamb Weston Meijer to acquire almost 40% of the share in the authorized capital of Lipetsk french fries producer Lam Weston Belaya Dacha LLC, Abireg reports.
Thus, the anti-monopoly authorities allowed Lamb Weston Meijer to acquire 39,38% of the stake in the Lipetsk company, which together with the existing ones will amount to 74,5%. According to Kartoteka.ru, now the main owner of the company is Viktor Semyonov's Belaya Dacha Group. The company owns 64,48%.
It should be noted that since the inception of the company, the owners owned 75 and 25%, respectively. However, at the end of 2018, Lamb Weston Meijer applied to the Federal Antimonopoly Service with a petition to increase its shares in the authorized capital of the company. In 2019, the Dutch company acquired 31,13% of the share, and later - 35,52%.
Recall that in April this year, the Belaya Dacha group of companies suspended the work of the French fries plant due to the reduction in product consumption, and resumed only in August. During the break in work at the plant, a large-scale modernization of production was carried out at a cost of 650 million rubles, which made it possible to significantly increase the speed of potato processing and improve the quality of finished products.
